Individual Therapy

One-on-one therapy provides a private, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with the support of a skilled, compassionate guide. Together, we'll identify what's holding you back and build practical strategies for lasting change.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centered techniques to create a personalized plan that fits your goals and pace. Individual therapy is effective for anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, grief, and much more.

Couples Therapy

Relationships are one of the most meaningful โ€” and challenging โ€” parts of life. Couples therapy offers a structured, supportive space to improve communication, resolve conflict, rebuild trust, and deepen your connection with your partner.

Using the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help couples of all types โ€” married, dating, same-sex, and non-traditional โ€” develop the tools to navigate difficulties and build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.

Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety can feel like a constant hum of worry, a racing heart before a meeting, or a paralysing fear that keeps you from living fully. You don't have to white-knuckle your way through it. Effective, lasting relief is possible.

I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to help you understand your anxiety, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build a toolkit of practical coping strategies for everyday life.

Depression & Mood

Depression is more than sadness โ€” it can be a heavy fog that drains your energy, motivation, and sense of self. It can make even small tasks feel impossible and disconnect you from the people and things you love most.

Through a combination of CBT, Behavioral Activation, and compassionate exploration of underlying patterns, we'll work together to lift that fog โ€” helping you rediscover meaning, motivation, and genuine joy in your daily life.

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can leave lasting imprints on the mind and body โ€” intrusive memories, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, or a persistent sense of unsafety. Healing is not about forgetting what happened; it's about reclaiming your life from it.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and somatic-informed approaches, which are among the most effective evidence-based treatments for trauma and PTSD. We move at your pace, always prioritising your safety and sense of control.

Grief & Loss

Grief is one of the most profound human experiences โ€” and one of the most isolating. Whether you've lost a loved one, a relationship, a job, or a sense of who you were, your grief is valid and deserves to be witnessed with care.

I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to process loss at your own pace. Drawing from the Dual Process Model and narrative therapy, we'll honour what you've lost while gently building a path toward meaning and renewed engagement with life.

Insurance & Sliding Scale: I am an out-of-network provider. A superbill is provided upon request for potential reimbursement through your insurance's out-of-network benefits. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available for clients experiencing financial hardship โ€” please ask during your free consultation.

Free 20-Minute Consultation: All new clients receive a complimentary phone consultation to discuss your needs and determine if we're a good fit.

Frequently asked questions

Have a question not answered here? Feel free to reach out directly โ€” I'm happy to help.

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you're hoping to achieve. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with โ€” we move at your pace. By the end, we'll discuss whether we're a good fit and outline a potential path forward.

The length of therapy varies greatly depending on your goals, the nature of what you're working through, and how you respond to treatment. Some clients find significant relief in 8โ€“12 sessions; others benefit from longer-term support over many months. We'll regularly review your progress together and adjust the plan as needed. You are always in control of how long you continue.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits that may reimburse a portion of your session fees. I provide a detailed superbill (receipt) after each session that you can submit to your insurer. I recommend calling your insurance provider before your first session to ask about your out-of-network benefits.

Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is equally effective as in-person therapy for most concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Online sessions offer the added benefit of convenience and accessibility โ€” you can attend from the comfort of your own home, which many clients find reduces barriers to consistent attendance. All online sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments without notice, are charged the full session fee. I understand that life happens โ€” if an emergency arises, please reach out as soon as possible and we can discuss the situation.

Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. Everything you share is kept strictly private. There are a small number of legal exceptions โ€” for example, if there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of suspected child abuse โ€” which I will explain fully during our first session. Outside of these rare circumstances, your privacy is completely protected.
